Last updated on MARCH 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server - Version 16.0 and later
Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a new Item is created and substitute method "Cloning" is used, the "Forecast Start Date Override" set in 'New Item Maintenance' Workbook is not respected and the forecast is generated with the next immediate forecast schedule.

It is expected to have the forecast generated by or on the date set in "Forecast start Date Override" measure.

As per the RDF documentation, 'Forecast Start Date Override measure can also be set in the Forecast Maintenance Workbook. Changes to this measure can be seen in the Forecast Maintenance task. The most recent commit (between either of the tasks) is the value used by the system.'
