ReIM: Line Level Tolerance Does Not Work As Expected With % Tolerance (Doc ID 2444499.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Invoice Matching - Version 14.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

ReIM Document Matching 14.1.3 version

You observe when the line item cost variance is within line item cost tolerance, the Detail Matching screen is displaying 'Within Cost Tolerance' as 'No'.
This occurs when the variance contains a partial value (for example: 9.1 or 8.5)

Expected Behavior:
When tolerance is setup for 10%, you expect partial values to be considered within tolerance

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
prerequisite: No Supplier Level Tolerance
1. Tolerance Maintenance Details - > set Line Level Tolerance as 10% in favor of Retailer and Summary Level Tolerance as 0% for Supplier trait.
2. Create a Purchase Order for $75.00 and receive it.
3. Create Invoice for $68.175 (Variance as 9.1%), so that it is within tolerance at line level.
4. Try Detail Matching but system says outside tolerance which is not expected.
