Java.lang.NullPointerException Error When Creating Like Item In RMS UI (Doc ID 2445612.1)

Symptoms

When multiple users are logged in Oracle Retail Merchandising System(RMS) some users randomly get an error in user interface when accessing the "like item" functionality in RMS as below:


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Open RMS.
  2. Go to items.
  3. Search for items.
  4. Select one item and select create like item button.
  5. Error message is thrown.
