The Address Correction Utility (ACU) lists the EUL_ID and ADDRESS_ID key values, but these are not visible within the MetaSolv Solution GUI so the user has no idea which row to update. The user has to update addresses because the ACU cannot collapse locations unless the entire address, EUL Name, Data Switch, TN Switch, and Network Area are all exactly the same.  Currently, the user has to go into an address database extract to find the appropriate ID then navigate to MetaSolv Solution, find the data and update it.

This is an inefficient process and the following enhancement requests would provide significant improvement to the ACU process.

1. Provide the capability to display the ADDRESS_ID and EUL_ID within the MetaSolv Solution GUI, controlled via a User Preference or within a “filter” view.

2. Provide the capability to update the address info directly within the ACU itself, and not within MetaSolv Solution so that they can be combined successfully.

3. Display the TN Switch, Data Switch, and Network Area in columns with the addresses so that the user can easily view the information without having to open each individual address record.
