Symptoms

You've added a configuration option for the model build group to execute a SCADA system resync after new SCADA switches are mapped or some updates are done to existing SCADA switches. You added this several years ago and it's worked fine.

The resync script has this command in it:
Action -java multispeak.SCADA RELOAD

This command has worked fine until recently in PB 34, 1.12.0.3.34. It now throws an error about 75% of the time.

ERROR HLMProxy: onHLMessage: EJB Exception: : java.util.concurrent.RejectedExecutionException: Task java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask@2d117bb rejected from java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor@528aba0f[Terminated, pool size = 0, active threads = 0, queued tasks = 0, completed tasks = 679]

The way you fix it is you manually stop the multispeak adapter and start it only about 25% of the time this works. Since Multispeak runs on its own managed server, you shutdown the managed server and restart it w/o affecting OMS. After you do this, generally SCADA will sync normally.

You have also tested this on 2.3.0.2.4 and the same error appears.

Changes

Installed 2.3.0.2.2-4, 2.3.0.1.8, 2.3.0.0.14, or 1.12.0.3.34-35.
