"Edi Record [THEAD] Isn't Of Valid Length, Expected [756], Actual [756]" Error Occurs During Invoice Upload Using EDI Injector Batch (Doc ID 2448408.1)

Symptoms

When the length of THEAD line in EDI file is less than expected length of 771, it was displaying an error which is expected. However, the message displays the expected length as 756 instead of 771.



Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create an EDI file with THEAD having a length less than expected length of 771.
  2. Run EDI injector batch using above EDI file.
  3. Notice that the batch rejects with following error which displays expected length as 756 instead of 771.
    "Edi record [THEAD] isn't of valid length, expected [756], actual [710]"
