Please share this advisory as appropriate within your IT and Networking organization and/or project team.

The purpose of this advisory is to provide you notice that, on Wednesday 26-Sept-2018 between 9:00 and 10:00am EDT, Oracle will replace the existing (Symantec) Microsoft Trusted Root Certification Authorities (CA) certificate with a DigiCert certificate in all Data Centers that host LSGBU products. The update is necessary following the acquisition of Symantec's CA business by DigiCert.

Expected Impact
Currently no impact to your InForm applications is anticipated during the root CA certificate replacement activity. However, as soon as the root CA certificate replacement has occurred, any data integration with LSGBU applications will require the new DigiCert root CA certificate on your data source/destination system as part of the ‘secure connection certificate chain’.
• Specifically, your data integrations with LSGBU will not succeed if the DigiCert root CA certificate is not found on your data source/destination system.
• Examples of integrations may include for example:   B2B, Argus, and Axway, InForm Adapter, CIS, DMW, Central Designer

What you need to do
You may already have installed the DigiCert root CA certificate. If so, no action is needed. Otherwise, the following applies. If you, or your third-party vendors, have applications that currently exchange data with LSGBU applications or if you access LSGBU application(s) on Oracle’s hosted environment you need to verify that the DigiCert root CA will be recognized and you may need to install the DigiCert root CA certificate and/or the intermediate certificate. In order to maintain your integrations you must do so by end of day Tuesday 25-Sept-2018 EDT, before Oracle’s scheduled replacement of the Symantec certificate on 26 September 2018.
Refer to the links below to download the DigiCert CA certificate and to perform a connectivity test.
