Performce Issue When Downloading Resource Assignments From P6 Web

After clicking the Download link on the Resource Assignments page, it freezes or takes a very long time to start downloading.
The file download can be initiated and completed quickly with good performance.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into P6 Web.
2. Browse to Resources > Assignments. Thousands or even more records are loaded.
3. Click the download button.
4. The web page gets frozen.
Note: If just opening a few projects, the download procedure can be started and completed quickly.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot download a large resource assignment dataset to Excel.
