When Connecting to the P6 Integration API Using SSL Service Mode the Error "com.primavera.integration.network.NetworkException: Communication Exception" Occurs (Doc ID 2449762.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the Integration API in SSL Service Mode, the following error occurs.

       at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:57)
       at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43)
       at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:606)
       at com.primavera.integration.client.Session.getDatabaseInstances(Session.java:303)
       at demo.general.GeneralDemoApp.getDatabaseInstances(GeneralDemoApp.java:77)

Caused by: java.rmi.ConnectIOException: error during JRMP connection establishment; nested exception is:  javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: unexpected_message

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade the Integration API
2. Test Standard Service Mode and Compression Service Mode which are successful
3. Test SSL Service Mode which fails with error
