 The ADF customization guide 16.0. (Oracle Retail Merchandising ADF Customization Guide <Note 2018356.1>) does not give adequate information on the In-Context Launchable Task for an Item from External System as below, by passing parameters pmItem and,pmMode:

WEB-INF/oracle/retail/apps/rms/foundation/item/view/itemsetup/itemmaster/flow/MaintainItemFlow.xml

Can you call Item Creation screen to create New items?
And, Item creation screen with a set of data values from the External application?
User credential - how can be passed?
Need to get the detail level for how to call it from the External application?

 
What are the ways to create items in mass?
 Is there a WebService for Item Induction?
