Last updated on JULY 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench - Version 2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Scheduled jobs stuck in Executing state in Data load page.

The customers usually free-up the service instance by resetting the count, for example, from 100 to 0 and again back to 100.

In this case the job log for jobs in 'Executing' state, will contain an error message like:

The scheduled jobs started post resetting the count, will stuck in 'Executing' state without getting the above mentioned error.

Questions:
1. Why the scheduled jobs were stuck in 'Executing' state with ORA-00028 error?
2. Why the scheduled jobs started after the service instance count reset are stuck in 'Executing' state without the error?
3. Why the scheduled job was 'Expired' with the mentioned error?
