Visualizer Hangs And Fails To Connect When Sqlnet.Encryption And Sqlnet.Crypto_Checksum Parameters Are Set to Required (Doc ID 2453184.1)

Symptoms

Symptom #1

In P6 Professional, when attempting to access Visualizer, Visualizer hangs and fails to connect to the database.  The following is noted in the %TEMP%\Visualizer.log:

Symptom #2

User CAN log into P6 Professional using LDAPS.

When choosing Tools -> Visualizer, the login screen appears.  Upon entering the same credentials, the login screen freezes with no message and the Visualizer logs contain these errors:

Visualizer.log
"Information Warn Connection initialization failure for alias XXXX, username XXXX"

PrimaveraVisualizerCmd.log
"Alias not specified and Using default alias: XXXX.
Unable to connect to the database. Please run the Database Configuration tool or contact your administrator.
Login Failed alias XXXX, username XXXX"
