Purpose
This document details the steps to be executed in order to configure a custom web service in Web Services Manager and should serve as an example for reference.
This was created by following the steps explain in "Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management Web Services Manager" documentation, chapter 5 "Customizing Web Services".
Scope
The bellow assumptions are made before starting execution of the detailed procedure :
- custom opcode PCM_OP_GENERIC was created in BRM and it is working properly when tested using testnap
- Web Services Manager was installed on BRM server (see detailed procedure in the following KM note: How To : Deploy And Test Web Services Manager (Doc ID 1604376.1))
- new domain was created in Weblogic server for Web Services Manager, for example : wsm_domain
- BrmWebServices.war was unpacked in temporary folder under PIN_HOME/deploy/web_services/tmp_BWS
Note that this procedure was tested on BRM 12.0 environment, but the same procedure may also work for other BRM versions.
