Enhancement Request: Public and Private IP Segregation in "IP Administrator Center "
(Doc ID 2457110.1)
Last updated on JULY 30, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.21.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), IP Administrator Center is not able to identify public and private IP addresses.
As a result, it is not possible to segregate IPs as private and public. If the given IP address is a public IP then "IP creation" in "IP Administrator Center" should not allow the creation of more than one Access Point Name (APN) mapping. If IP is private then it can allow multiple APN mappings.
If implemented, it will minimize the data integrity issues and will reduce the complexity.
Also can there be possibility of restricting the creation of the same IP address which is present in the system through IP Administrator?
