Data Is Missing In DLP Schema After Upgrading Multi-Tenant Database From 8.0 To 8.1 - All VARCHAR2 Columns Converted To CLOB Are NULL (Doc ID 2458058.1)

Symptoms

The columns of the following tables were found to be missing values in the Data Lock Point (DLP) tables after the system was upgraded from 8.0 to 8.1:

DLP_CASE_DOSE_REGIMENS.DOSE_DESCRIPTION
DLP_CASE_DOSE_REGIMENS.DOSE_DESCRIPTION_J
DLP_CASE_FOLLOWUP.JUSTIFICATION
DLP_CASE_FOLLOWUP.JUSTIFICATION_J
DLP_CASE_JUSTIFICATIONS.J_TEXT
DLP_CASE_JUSTIFICATIONS.J_TEXT_J
DLP_CASE_NOTES_ATTACH.NOTES
DLP_CASE_NOTES_ATTACH.NOTES_J
DLP_CASE_ROUTING.COMMENT_TXT
DLP_CASE_ROUTING.COMMENT_TXT_J

All of these columns were originally of type VARCHAR2 in 8.0 but were converted to CLOB in 8.1.


Note: This issue only impacts multi-tenant databases with dlp enabled.
