Unconstraint Plan - Shrinkage Demand Is Not Calculated For Planned Orders Between Organizations (Internal Requisition/Internal Sales Order Scenario) (Doc ID 2458706.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 11, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.3.9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 12.1.3.9.2 version, Memory Based Planner in PROD

Users are running unconstrained Plan with Org WXI , SYD, IPH and DAL ..etc. They make semi conductors and use item level shrinkage for Make, Buy and Inter Org Demands. Planners are observing that Expected scrap calculation only happens for

1) Make

2) Buy Items

3) Does not occur Inter Organization Transfer Items.

Example : 1249927 has sourcing rule as : SYD org source the item from WXI org. SYD has shrinkage rate : 0.1 - APS data does not account shrinkage rate and no expected scrap is calculated for Planned Orders.

This looks to be the same as ER <bug 6998109>. Can it be confirmed this is an ER bug and that it's not going to be fixed/implemented anytime soon?
