Looking For Option To Have The Actual Start Date Later Than The Planned End Date (Doc ID 2459720.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Set dates on a roadmap, the following error occurs.

ERROR

"Actual Start Date should be earlier than Plan Completion Date"

STEPS

  1. Access a project with permission to change dates
  2. Use the quick edit to the non-top level dates of a project to enter the actual start date, and make that date prior (earlier) to the planned completion date
  3. Select Save

RESULT

The planned completion and actual start date and row are in red, by hovering over you can see the message in the error.
