The AutoVue Client Did Not Start Successfully : Message Appear More Slowly then preference : Autovue Client Startup Delay (In Seconds) (Doc ID 2463675.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Preference : Autovue Client Startup Delay (In Seconds)
is set to 60 , which should be 60 seconds but the below message
when AutoVue server is not running and when user try to view
attachment, will appear over then 60 seconds. (around 2 minutes)

The AutoVue client did not start successfully. Please ensure that the server
is running and the generated JNLP is launched. You can contact the system
administrator for extending the delay required before assuming AutoVue
startup failure.


STEPS

  1. Make sure AutoVue for Agile service is not running
  2. Java Client
    Preference: Autovue Client Startup Delay (In Seconds) : 60
  3. Login to Web Client
  4. Search p00001
  5. Go to Attachments tab
  6. Select a file
  7. Click View > View
  8. Wait until below message appears

    The AutoVue client did not start successfully. Please ensure that the server
    is running and the generated JNLP is launched. You can contact the system
    administrator for extending the delay required before assuming AutoVue
    startup failure.

    ==> Message appeared after 110 seconds
