Selling_UOM Is Not In Sync In RPM For Items Created With "New From Existing" In RMS (Doc ID 2467323.1)

Symptoms

Selling_uom is not in sync in Oracle Retail Merchandising System(RMS) and Oracle Retail Pricing Management(RPM) when creating an item using "New from existing".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create transaction level item in RMS with STANDARD_UOM as KG.
  2. Check the Retail by Zone : Selling UOM is also KG.
  3. Navigate to Item/Loc form : add locations (warehouse and store). Update selling UOM of stores to Grams.
  4. Approve item - check item_loc. Records are in sync. import items to RPM. Selling UOM is correct.
  5. Create an item using "New from existing" functionality in RMS.
  6. Create transaction level item with New from existing in RMS as of previous item.
  7. Check the Retail by Zone : Selling UOM is also KG.
  8. Navigate to Item/Loc form : Check the existing locations UOM. It' reflection the same UOM as of reference item.
  9. Now, update Selling UOM for locations (store). Update selling UOM of stores to KG. Item/Loc screen shows selling UOM as KG.
  10. Approve item - check item_loc. Records are in sync with screen.
  11. Import items to RPM. Selling UOM is incorrect in RPM_STAGE_ITEM_LOC/RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL tables.
