Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM), the quantity of the delivery is incorrectly updated, when the Delivery for Customer Order is created using the POSTransaction Web Service.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create Customer Order using POSTransaction WS.
  2. Check SOH and UIN reservation.
    1. SOH has been correctly reflected.
    2. UIN has correct status.
  3. Customer Order has been correctly created (status In Progress).
  4. At the same moment there is also Delivery in status Completed linked to the Order from point 3 which is the first defect.
  5. Perform order fulfillment using POSTransaction WS.
  6. Check SOH and UIN status:
    1. SOH has been correctly reflected.
    2. UIN has correct status.
  7. Customer order has been correctly closed.
  8. Delivery has been updated and quantity value is 2 instead 1 which is the second defect.
