Questions and Answers
 Question 1:
 The customer is setting CC&B vertical cluster, multiple instances running on the same server. Single installation (only 1 $SPLEBASE).

Log templates are already segregated by weblogic instance name.

Issue: When starting second instance the port number WEB_WLPORT=<port> is already used by first instance.
 - t3s://localhost:<port>

Question: Can we use parameters to bypass the port number that was set on ENVIRON.INI?
 Question 2:
 Other properties with port numbers have to be bypassed:

ouaf.web.help.coreAppURL=https://localhost:<port>/ouaf/loginPage.jsp
spl.runtime.management.connector.url.default=service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://loc
alhost:<port>/oracle/ouaf/webAppConnector
oracle.ouaf.jmx.remote.startPort=<port1>
spl.runtime.management.rmi.port=<port1>
ouaf.web.appViewer.coreAppURL=https://localhost:<port>/ouaf/loginPage.jsp#fromAppViewer

Do you have documentation on how to override all port number from Environ.INI during Weblogic Instance start?

 Question 3:
 What about the other properties?

oracle.ouaf.jmx.remote.startPort=<port1>
spl.runtime.management.rmi.port=<port1>
 Question 4:
 Can the product team send some steps/notes to configure JMX on a vertical+horizontal cluster?

- only for monitoring OK, yes it is only for monitoring
- optional OK , but we want to explore capability.
 Question 5:
 Development repeated the same answer which I understood already.

Can you translate?

"On a vertical cluster (Development assumes you mean many managed servers per host) you generally have different setups for each server so the port number is different on the configuration."

-> generally have different setups for each MANAGED server?

Does that mean we cannot share $SPLEBASE? The idea is to have one SPLEBASE for all clustered members. When 2 or more are on the same physical machine, there is only one ENVIRON.INI .... how the port number can be distinct?

 Question 6:
 Now that the customer has two Managed Servers running the same SPLEBASE, what will happen with the SPL* log files being directed to the SPLOUTPUT? Will each Managed Server overwrite the entries from the other one in the same server?
