Symptoms

When attempting to Import XER, the following error occurs:

ERROR:

Microsoft Project
The products we found in your account can't be used to activate Project.

STEPS:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Sign in to P6 Pro Client.
  2. Select File, Import, Primavera XER.
  3. Microsoft Project message box appears with error statement.
