Error:" Authorization for UCM is required" When Trying to Open a File in AutoVue from WebCenter version 12.x

AutoVue Client Server is integrated with Oracle WebCenter using Oracle Vuelink which is deployed in WebLogic Application Server. When selecting "View in AutoVue" from WebCenter an "Authorization Information" dialog window appears with the message "Authorization for UCM is required" asking for the Username and Password. Even after entering the proper credentials the credentials dialog will still display over and over again. The following product versions are used:
1.AutoVue version = 21.0.1 Client Build 10299: 2018-03-14, Server Build 10299: 2018-03-14
2.WebCenter ( UCM ) version = 184.108.40.206.0-2017-07-27 02:42:33Z-r155611 (Build:220.127.116.11)
3.VueLink for WebCenter (UCM) version = 20.1.0, Build = 7998, Build Date = 2011-11-25
4.WebLogic = version 18.104.22.168.0

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Attempt to open a file in AutoVue from UCM, the above login prompt shows up
