Session Timeout Issue When logging Into Same Browser Session (Doc ID 2472079.1)

We have implemented SSO(Ping) in the Infomanager Console and it is working. Initially we were getting a CSRF validation error but after implementing solution in Doc ID 2230737.1 by implementing the SKIP_CSRF_VALIDATION we no longer have the CSRF validation problem; we do however have a session timeout issue every time we try to login through sso in the same browser session.

The scenario occurs when the browser session times out and the user clicks on any link in IM Console and is logged out. The IM user will be taken to our custom Logout page. When the user attempts to login from the custom logout page through sso, the browser is constantly returning a session time out message, reloading the custom logout page.  This behavior occurs until a fresh browser session is used to access the IM instance.

Could you please help me out to determine why session timeout is happening in our custom logout page?
