Symptoms
The first issue happens only on clustered systems where managed nodes are hosted on separate servers. For example, you may have two servers with the first hosting the Admin node and two managed nodes. The second server may have nodes three and four. This problem occurs on the second server where you may see the following error upon startup:
Caused By: oracle.security.jps.config.JpsConfigurationException: JPS-01544: The provided configuration file path /u01/app/oracle/agile/agile936/agileDomain/config/fmwconfig/jps-config.xml is invalid or null.

The second issue happens only on Linux/UNIX platforms where the File Manager is co-installed with the application server and you may see the following error upon startup:
touch: cannot touch `/u01/app/oracle/agile/agile936/FileManager/logs/catalina.out': No such file or directory
/u01/app/oracle/agile/agile936/FileManager/bin/catalina.sh: line 434: /u01/app/oracle/agile/agile936/FileManager/logs/catalina.out: No such file or directory
