Temporary Disable One IP Address For A Remote System (Doc ID 2475946.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Converged Application Server - Service Controller - Version 6.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is there a way to disable or suspend temporarily a remote system IP address in OCCAS-SC?

Remote system configured in SSU administration console: SSU SIGTRAN SS7 -> M3UA -> Connectivity -> Remote System with two IP addresses (IP address 1 and IP address 2).

Now there is need to "disable" one of the IP addresses, so that the address is not used by OCCAS-SC - there should be no communication from OCCAS-SC to the IP address, especially no tries to establish the SCTP associations (no SCTPinit messages).
