What are the Steps for Exporting Large Partial, Cleansed Database from an Agile PLM System? (Doc ID 2476424.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Agile PLM Framework - Version 9.3.1.0 to 9.3.6.0 [Release 9.3]
Oracle Agile Product Collaboration - Version 9.3.6.0 to 9.3.6.0 [Release 9.3]
Linux x86-64
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Goal

In an effort to minimize the time it takes to export and upload a large database to a Service Request (SR), Oracle recommends excluding historical and notification data from the dump file. The data in these tables are often the largest tables in the database and are not relevant in most investigations. This article familiarizes the reader with the process of exporting a partial cleansed database, containing all essential data, from an Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
