IPSA Support For Service Instance And Bridge-domain Config Outside L2 VPN Context For Cisco IOS (Doc ID 2479264.1)

Currently IPSA supports service instance and bridge domain in the context of a L2 (Layer 2) VPN. Support for this configuration is required in a general context - an example is to create a service instance as a logical sub-interface using the Interface Configuration Management functionality of IPSA.

Here is a sample configuration:

interface GigabitEthernet2
service instance 401 ethernet                              <---- Configuration required
service-policy output EGRESS-CHILD-CUSTOMER1
encapsulation dot1q 37 second-dot1q 401
rewrite ingress tag pop 2 symmetric
bridge-domain 401                                            <---- Configuration required
