Can An Extra Mail Header Field Be Added By Convergence?
(Doc ID 2483444.1)

Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In order to help refine antispam filtration rules against botnets who compromise customer's mail accounts, we would like to add a new header field in emails created via Convergence that contains the IP address of the host who generated that email.
What we get from the current headers/logs is the IP address of the Convergence server who created the email and not the IP address of the host who has the mail session active and created the emails.
