Goal

On ASAP 7.0.1 version, Installation Issues

We are planning to upgrade ASAP on a fallback server where the database is in readonly mode.

We have a  requirement to upgrade ASAP on the Live servers. We have a primary server and a secondary servery, both are connected through data guard. In the fallback server(Secondary Server), the database was set to read-only mode to avoid overwriting existing schemas in the Database when upgraded.

We are OK to upgrade the primary first and data guard will sync the data. Then we need to upgrade the  secondary.

So, the question is:

1. How can we upgrade the secondary server and it's data? Can you Provide the detailed steps.

We have plan to upgrade the database from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.4
