Symptoms
Even though the configuration commands are sent and applied successfully on the device, the NP issues the final QUIT to log out of the device. Then the connection is dropped between the NP and the device.
The NP then goes into a loop of logging into the device and exiting out until it finally puts the device into intervention required and then generates a java exception.
