Symptoms

When attempting to upgrade the P6 EPPM database to a higher version, the following error occurs:

ERROR

Could not complete because the job "Run SQL Script SSPM_P161.sql" failed.
com.primavera.database.tools.DatabaseToolException: Column names in each table must be unique. Column name 'job_data_x_id' in table 'jobsvc' is specified more than once.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a backup of the Production database
2. Restore the database on another server
3. Run the dbsetup.bat to upgrade the P6 database to a higher P6 version
4. Enter in the database details, during the upgrade process, the process fails with the error in the log
