"PKIX path building failed" When Launching NMS Environments after Installing New Certificates (Doc ID 2485873.1)

After updating the SSL certificate on a test system, and redeploying the cesejb.ear file, Web Workspace (and all other environments) fail to start.

This exception can be found in the client log files:

2018-12-15 17:47:24,602 [main] ERROR com.splwg.oms.jbot.PropertyManager:  PropertyManager.getOverrideBundle() - query to override_strings failed
java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is t3s://nmsweblogic.<SERVER>.com:[port]: Destination unreachable; nested exception is: PKIX path building failed: unable to find valid certification path to requested target; No available router to destination]

 The SSL certificate recently expired and the nms-ssl.keystore was copied from a new system.
