"PKIX path building failed" When Launching NMS Environments after Installing New Certificates (Doc ID 2485873.1)

Symptoms

After updating the SSL certificate on a test system, and redeploying the cesejb.ear file, Web Workspace (and all other environments) fail to start.

This exception can be found in the client log files:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target; No available router to destination]

Changes

 The SSL certificate recently expired and the nms-ssl.keystore was copied from a new system.
