OFSAA 806 Weblogic java.lang.Exception cannot be cast to java.util.HashMap Error (Doc ID 2485890.1)

Goal

On upgrade to 8.0.6 from 8.0.3, are able to successfully deploy to Weblogic after applying patch 23036940 and 27938294. OFSAA application is coming up and no issues with login in the GUI. However in the logs $DOMAIN_HOME/bin/nohup.out the below error appears:
