Millions of 'Created Endpoint For JID: user@example.com' Messages in Xmppd Log (Doc ID 2486547.1)

Symptoms

In a setting comprising Oracle Communications Instant Messaging 10.0.1.2.0 + hotfix, it is noticed that three ID's have almost 400 million 'created endpoint' messages in xmppd logs on two different servers.

It seems rather strange that three IDs can cause these many attempted/created endpoints.
