Convergence 3, Customization for Forwarding Address Blocklist / Allowlist
(Doc ID 2486858.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Convergence users can set up an auto-forwarding address under Mail options.
Convergence user clicks on 'Options' -> 'Mail' -> 'Forwarding', checks the 'Enable automatic forwarding' option and key in one or more mail addresses in the text box labelled 'Forward to:'. This would take any Mail Address(es), and would save the changes successfully when the user click on 'Save Preferences' button.
However, there may arise a requirement where the users need to be restricted from auto-forwarding mails to certain domains (blocklist), or only be allowed to auto-forward to specific domains (allowlist).
This document provides an example on how the system administrator can impose some restrictions (allowlist/blocklist) on the auto-forwarding address.
