API BaseConfigurationManager.deleteItemFromFutureVersions failing with NullPointerException (NPE)

java.lang.NullPointerException: null
at oracle.communications.inventory.api.configuration.impl.BaseConfigurationManagerImpl.deleteItemFromFutureVersions(BaseConfigurationManagerImpl.java:5752)
at oracle.communications.inventory.api.service.impl.ServiceConfigurationManagerImpl.deleteConfigurationItems(ServiceConfigurationManagerImpl.java:1365)
