LERG (220.127.116.115) - Looping Process Problem In Location And Routing Gateway Query Window. The application hangs.

The LERG client application infinitely executes a query while the mouse cursor focus remains on the Criteria tab of the Location And Routing Gateway Query window (w_lerg_query_monster). The Windows Task Manager shows the lerg.exe process consumes 25-45% of the CPU. Selecting the Results or Properties tab immediately stops the looping process. Returning back to the Criteria tab immediately restarts it.
The problem started after applying Patch 24007321: MSS_6_2_1_B1135. The behavior is only observed when the new LERG Import type System Preference is set to Monthly or Quarterly Updates. The behavior does NOT occur when the preference is set to Comprehensive Updates.
