Changing an IPSA installation directory structure by copying or moving is unsupported
(Doc ID 2490710.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.3.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Logging files are not being directed to the proper directory. Scripts such as the configGUI.sh, are unable to start the IPSA processes.
Changes
The IPSA installed directory was changed manually.
EXAMPLE;
The initial installation was carried out properly using the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) with IPSA installed to say /opt/OraceCommunications/ServiceActivator.
The path was then copied (cp) or moved (mv) using the UNIX command to /opt/newdirectory/OracleCommunications/ServiceActivator which caused IPSA scripts and logging to fail.
