Price Line Import Will Not Redline Existing Price Line Price Effective To Date While Adding New Price Line (Doc ID 2492045.1)

Goal

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
How to use import to redline Published Price existing Price Line row while adding new rows?

For example, there is below Price Line that needs to be updated.

Ship From Ship To Price Effective Price Effective To Date Qty Currency Code Material Price
Nagano Tokyo 01/01/2018   1 USD 100

Expect to redline using import with the following :

Ship From Ship To Price Effective Price Effective To Date Qty Currency Code Material Price
Nagano Tokyo 01/01/2018 03/31/2018 1 USD 100
Nagano Tokyo 04/01/2018   1 USD 200

The existing first row Price Effective To Date attribute will be redlined. 2nd new row will be added as redline.

Currently, when setting import preference : Multi Row Update Mode is set to Add/Update Only, existing row does not get updated.
When setting Multi Row Update Mode : Complete Replace, it will remove existing row.

STEPS

Test Case for Multi Row Update Mode: Add/Update Only

1. Login to Web Client and create new Price : PRICE00004

Item Number: P00113
Item Rev:
Supplier:testBroker01 (BROKER00001)
Price Type:Published Price
Number:PRICE00004
Description:
Lifecycle Phase:Preliminary
Allow Qty Breaks:Yes
Owner:okada, yuki (yukokada)
Customer:ALL
Program:ALL

2. Create PCO: PCO00002 for above Price to have Published Price with following Price Line

 
Ship From Ship To Price Effective Price Effective To Date Qty Currency Code Material Price
Nagano Tokyo 01/01/2018   1 USD 100


3. Release PCO: PCO00002

4. Tools and Settings > Import

Import File : PriceListTest.xlsx

5. Import Preference > Business Rule

Multi Row Update Mode: Add/Update Only
Price Quantity Break Default: Yes

6. Specify File Content : Published Price Lines : check

7. Data Mapping

Use a saved mapping file : PriceMapFile.xml

Redline Options : Use the following Change for redlining
PCO00003

8. Import

9. Go to PCO00003 , Price Lines tab

Redlines for PRICE00004

Result : 1st and 3rd row are added with Redline. 2nd row which is existing row, was removed with Redline.
