When Using The Create Like Item Functionality, The Item Number Is Not Autogenerated (Doc ID 2492184.1)

When using the Create Like Item functionality, the item number is not auto-generated for Level 2 Items.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the following screen: Items->Manage Items.
  2. Search all Items.
  3. Pick an item with Item Level 1.
  4. Use the Create Like Item Action.
  5. Item Number can be changed and the Item value is auto-generated when the number type is a sequence.
  6. Pick an item with Item Level 2.
  7. Use the Create Like Item Action.
  8. The item number type is disabled for the items level 2, which is fine, but the sequence is not auto-generated and the generate button is greyed out. Usually the new sequence is generated when the combobox switch item event occurs, but in this case, the combobox value is predefined to one value and it is disabled. - INCORRECT.
  9. The Generate button is always greyed out and even when it is not greyed out it uses the sequence that is not a sequence of the selected Item Number Type, more like some predefined other sequence.
