TelephoneNumber.getCharacteristics().remove() Removing only 400 Records from TN_CHAR_EXT Table (Doc ID 2492258.1)

Symptoms

Using TelephoneNumber.getCharacteristics().remove() API to remove chars for multiple TNs in one transaction.
While all the eligible records get deleted from TN_CHAR table but only 400 records get deleted from TN_CHAR_EXT table, rest of the records stay there.

Seems to be that UIM has hard-coded limit of removing a max of 400 records from CHAR_EXT table.
