Goal
On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC), all the configure rating and tariffing information in Charging Control Services (CCS) is compiled into a "Memory File" (MFile) on the Voucher and Wallet Servers (VWS'). These MFiles are loaded by the beVWARS processes improve the performance of these processes (when compared to going to the database to query certain rate/tariff information for each call).
It is possible for these files to be corrupted and this can cause the beVWARS processes to either crash or not start with the following error:
This article will describe a way to work around this alarm so the beVWARS processes start when the Service Logic Execution Environment (SLEE) is started.
