For New Sale Transaction Created Via ReSa, SIM Is Updating Existing Transactions If The Transaction ID Already Exists (Doc ID 2493126.1)

Symptoms

SIM is updating existing transactions if the transaction ID already exists for the past business date.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Complete Sale via ORPOS (Ex: store 256, Business Date: 10/18/2018 and Txn: 7777 and Reg:001 and Item A). Make sure POS updates to SIM inventories.
  2. Make sure ReSA audits and send transaction at step#1 to SIM via SIMT file.
  3. Create New Sale transaction via ReSA for the same store with different Item B and different Business Date (Ex: store 256, Business Date: 10/19/2018 and Txn: 7777 and Reg:001 and Item B).
  4. Make sure ReSA audits and pushed transaction at step#3 to SIM via SIMT file.
