Performing a Data Reset With a Value Beyond the 1-Month Default Runs for 20-30 Minutes and Times Out

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When performing a Data Reset with a value beyond the 1-month default (ex. 3 or 6 months), the process begins and runs for 20-30 minutes and seems to be processing normally but ends in one of the errors noted below:
Connection to the server is lost. You can continue to work offline.
A server with the specified hostname cannot be found.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Log into the Unifier environment with a supported Android mobile device.
- Navigate to Settings > Data Reset > Reset All Data > Data Reset For Three Months or Six Months.
- Observe reported issue.
