Issues With CTA Response When There Is A Technical Action Hanging Of A Resource Having Multiple Instances (Doc ID 2495739.1)

Last updated on JULY 22, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management - Version 7.3.5.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Q1. 'name' is a default OOTB attribute for resource, and if added in conceptual model it throws an error for duplication for realization.Therefore to map the name attribute to the TA Action family output attribute. I used the following custom binding condition.

  #MobileServiceRFS/APNComponent/Assignment[@State != 'PENDING_UNASSIGN']/name

The problem with the above Xpath is that there are multiple APNComponent under MobileServiceRFS. I have tried multiple wildcards as well to resolve, but unable to. The output of the CTAis undesired for both APN TA instances.

1st instance.
  name
    xmlns:act="http://xmlns.oracle.com/communications/inventory/actioncalculator">
  APN NAME2
  APN NAME

2nd instance:
  name
Expect the name to be populated in their own TA order line item instance.

Q2. Earlier the CTA XML was getting populated in the logs to help derive the Xpath, but post recent ear even though the
loggingconfig.xml has the below loggers its not able to print the CTA XMLs.

             <logger name="oracle.communications.inventory.webservice.adapter.configuration.TechnicalActionCalcWorker" additivity="false">
                            <level value="debug"/>
                            <appender-ref ref="rollingFile"/>
             </logger>
             <logger name="oracle.communications.inventory.webservice.adapter.configuration.ConfigurationAdapter" additivity="false">
                            <level value="debug"/>
                            <appender-ref ref="rollingFile"/>
             </logger>
