Symptoms

When trying to create a new eQ from an existing Ingredient spec, an unhandled error appears when trying to add a new Compliance Allergen, Additive, or Sensitivity to the eQ:

Exception: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException (0x80004005): Exception of type
'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select a raw material ingredient in an Issued status.
  2. Create a new eQ for that material.
  3. Add a due date and instructions to the summary section.
  4. Add a new Allergen which is not already on the eQ.
