Slow Performance in P6 Web at Login and When Accessing Pages (Doc ID 2496250.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 25, 2019

Applies to:

Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Various tasks in P6 Web are taking longer in all browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) than in previous releases.

Example: The times below reflect a user accessing a relatively small database.  When additional users access the database, performance degrades further.

In addition the P6 managed server's log file will contain errors similar to the following:

<P6> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '2' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <> <> <fa3f93fe-2d95-4f57-854e-2e6857050427-0000007e> <1547481900925> <[severity-value: 64] [rid: 0] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > <BEA-101360> <Recompiling JSP [ServletContext@1963383526[app:p6 module:/p6 path:null spec-version:3.1 version:]], resource [/WEB-INF/jsp/components/globalfooter.jsp], because it is stale.>
