Unable To Connect Endeca Server From ODI (Doc ID 2497717.1)

Symptoms

On : 3.2.0 version, Integrator ETL/Designer

After configuring the endeca server using document below,Unable to test the connection of  Endeca server from ODI. Its throwing an error.

ERROR

oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.InvocationException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Driver class name must not be empty
at oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.RemoteRuntimeAgentInvoker.invoke(RemoteRuntimeAgentInvoker.java:265)
at oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.RemoteRuntimeAgentInvoker.invokeTestDataServer(RemoteRuntimeAgentInvoker.java:780)


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In ODI Studio, select the Topology tab.
2. Expand Physical Architecture > Technologies.
3. Right click Endeca Server and select New Data Server.
4. Select the Definition pane and specify a unique value for Name.
5. Select the JDBC pane and specify a value for JDBC Url.

Click Save

6. Test the connection from ODI.
