A Default Value for a Data Element Is Not Always Displayed in a View Form of a BP (Doc ID 2499957.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

No default value is available in the drop-down menu for a Data Definition in the record of a Business Process (BP), but one is displayed in the record for other BPs.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

A Default Value should be available for any BP.

 

This issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Create several Data Definitions with a default value.
  2. Create several corresponding Data Elements connected to another Data Element through DDS.
  3. Deploy those fields into the View Form of a Business Process.
  4. When creating a record under a project, a default value for those Data Elements is not available.
